What wouldn't relate more to a young girl like an anime love triangle based in a school setting than School Rumble? This crazy love story is more seen from the male character perspective than the girls. I consider this manga Shoujo because you get a different view on the opposite gender and watch the trials and error they go through to get the girl of their dreams. Even though there are some shocking outcomes, School Rumble is quite comical and it's not just the two potential lovers either, the whole class level is in it too. So there are multiple stories to be told and the puzzle starts the form of you is attracted to who. As a person who literally watched this in early junior high, it definitely is appealing and almost a guide of what's to happen eventually.

Wow, the manga  Nausicaa Of the Valley of the Wind  looks like the type of adventure I dream of going on. It's so action pack and even though the manga is in black and white, the crosshatch and line work of art goes great with it. The mange is rough, a little realistic, completely out of this world creatures and situations.  I swear I've seen this style before in an anime where these 2 children end up in another world in the sky because of a special necklace. I only checked out the first chapter, but if I were to continue with this series, I rather see it in motion because it would be more impactful and could get an, even more, an understanding of certain scenes.

Week 14: The influence of Manga & Anime in the West

If you are referring to the question they asked: "do you believe in magic?" I didn't aspect the first reading to be short, but I answered the question in my head and I said, "Yes I do". The connections I made for the story are that the really quiet girl at school is struggling financially and that's why her stockings are ripped and her stomach is empty most of the time. Honestly, I like the medium a lot. When that one weird, smart kid came to the class I couldn't help but laugh because his head is so irregular shaped. And then when he actually popped off the pages just to get a glance at the girl, I can tell he's gonna be my favorite character if I can continue read more. I've read webtoons stories before and I think Annarasumanara  fits well in an online environment because at least for me, it's easier to read and its flows better.
